We believe content management should be powerful, intuitive, and actually enjoyable to use.
Kickass CMS was born from frustration with traditional content management systems. Too often, they're either too simple to handle complex content relationships, or so complicated that teams spend more time fighting the CMS than creating content.
We set out to build something different—a CMS that leverages the power of graph databases to make content relationships natural and intuitive, while keeping the day-to-day experience smooth and enjoyable.
Traditional relational databases force content into rigid tables and foreign keys. But real content has complex relationships—authors write multiple pieces, articles belong to multiple categories, media is reused across pages.
FLXBL's graph database lets us model these relationships naturally, making it easy to traverse connections, find related content, and build features that would be cumbersome with traditional approaches.
